Dr Verma completed his medical education from prestigious institutes of India GSVM Medical college, Kanpur/ Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He has been consultant incharge of Pulmonary medicine department in various corporate hospitals. He has been guest speaker and faculty in various conferences and CMEs.

Being an expert in the field of Pulmonary medicine and critical care he is well versed with problems and diseases of lungs and is competent enough to deal serious medical conditions related to respiratory system. He has a vast experience in treating various lung diseases like Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Tuberculosis (TB), Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), Pleural effusion, Pneumonia, Critical illnesses, Viral infections including Covid and swine flu.
